You can upgrade using a standard image from our software page. The ova files are for a first deployment into ESX.

Not to bring up a dead topic, but I have the same question. 6.1.1-vsh provides an upgrade screen, but the only software available is the 6.5.0 OVA which isn't accepted on this screen.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Do I deploy the new version and swap over the licenses?

I have successfully upgraded V-SH V250L RiOS. It is common procedure but we have to user 64bit RiOS

How can we upgrade RiOS on V250L? Is it common procedure like with appliance SH-250 and same RiOS-32?

Or is it something special?
