One thing i have noticed is that if your riverbed Steelhead at the server side is not in a logical inpath with the steelhead mobile client, you may need to do 2 things..
1) enable out-of-path optimization on the server side steelhead
2) create a fixed path rule on your acceleration policy to point to said server side steelhead.
these two steps ensure the riverbed is used for optimization. i had this issue with a client recently.

Do you see your connection in the Steelhead Mobile UI? If so, can you right click it and 'detect Steelheads'?

Hi there
I am having something very strange happening with my mobile client
I am running windows xp, and have my firewall turned off.
I have confirmed that the client is running, with optimization enabled, but when I copy a file to and from the U: drive, which is behind the Riverbed Steelhead hardware appliance, I never see any optimization going on.
As far as I can tell everything is turned on.
The only difference between mine and a working one is the working one is showing licensed. How do I get that turned on?
Regards
