What is not working with MAPI? No optimization at all, broken connections, something else?

Hi Edwin

I removed my FT rule that was using the inpath IP and added a new one using the PRI interface and is great.

The only thing that is not working now is the MAPI optimisation is not working.

We are using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2010 HTTPS.

Are there any special inpath rules that need to be created ??

Your VPN gateway should be on the WAN side of the DC Steelhead appliance.

Or you can set the fixed target rule to the DC Steelhead appliance primary interface and let it NAT there.

Hi

I am currently having an issue where VPN users connecting are unable to optimise connection only to servers in our server subnet, this is also the same subnet that our SH is on. VPN user are given an address out of a pool of address on this same subnet.

It seems to just pass the traffic through. But when I connect to one of our branch offices server I am able to get optimisation.

Server Subnet (Riverbed Inpath LAN and VPN IP Pool) 192.168.0.0/24 - Does Not work

Remote Subnet(192.168.251.0/24 - Does Work

I have a Fixed target in path rule for 3389 pointng to Riverbeds inpath IP 192.168.0.250

Could somebody please help ?
