Re: Shared Documents

We are experiencing the same issue with Steelhead Mobile.  Working with Riverbed support to resolve the issue.  At this time we are removing the mobile client from users accessing the shared documents.

Re: Shared Documents

Please open a support case for this issue and send in a sysdump from the mobile client, the SMC and the peer Steelhead for analysis.

Mobile client:
- Login to the Steelhead Mobile Controller
- Click on Reports and find the connected user in question. You can filter by username if you have a long list.
- Tick the user in question and click 'Request System Dump'
- Once this has completed, over on the left in the section called 'Endpoint Diagnostic', click on 'System Dumps'.
- Find and click on the dump generated against the username.

SMC and Steelhead:
To generate a sysdump from the GUI:

1. In RiOS 5.0 and later: Go to Reports > Diagnostics > System Dump and click Generate System Dump.
On the SMC: Go to Reports > Controller Diagnostics > System Dumps and click Generate System Dump Now.
2. Right click and download the file to your PC.

Shared Documents

We have multiple sites using the Riverbed Mobile client and seem to be experiencing an issue with shared documents such as Word and Excel. If multiple users using Riverbed Mobile open the same document in Excel (shared workbook) the document becomes corrupt and often is lost and replaced with a temp. file name such a 064A0697. If we turn off the client, the users are able to open shared workbook and enter information and then save correctly. Any one else experiencing this issue?

THANKS!
