Re: Native SMB2 for steelhead mobile

Steelhead Mobile does not support SMB2 as of 3.1.3c.

Options:

1) If the client and server support it, you can have the mobile client down-negotiate to SMB1 by checking the box "Enable SMBv1 Backwards Compatibility Mode" in the Mobile client Acceleration Policy.

2) You may get better performance if you create an in-path rule for the Mobile Acceleration Policy that disables latency optimization for connections to the SMB2 server (Latency Optimization Policy = None)

3) Configure the client and/or server to use SMB1.  This is described here:

Re: Native SMB2 for steelhead mobile

Almost same issue : SMB2 optimization is only SDR and not latency.

My error message is "Unable to optimize SMB2 traffic"

SHA is in version 7.0.1 with SMB2 enabled, also for SMB2 signing and NTLM Transparent mode and successful Login of an account in the AD Domain. Service reloaded after SMB2 changes.

SHM is in version 3.1.3c with CIFS Latency optim enabled in the Policy profile (no mention of SMB2 though)

Any clue ?

Thanks in advance.
