Hi Edwin,

 

yes, from SNMP. Typical Visibility other than Cascade, would acquire SNMP to read the assign 'bandwidth MIB' speed. From there only then the calculation could be done. But then again this would be more on calculation purposes rather than bandwidth capping.

yes i know. its just that when using as a netflow device. You may encounter that the link speed is pretty much big than its actual WAN speed of the sites, since the Rvb is sitting on the Lan side (100/1000Mbps rather than 1Mbps)

Unless you want to use traffic-shaping, the Steelhead appliances are not interested in link-speeds.

Can we set interface bandwidth speed, Not capping, but statement of the bandwidth speed.

Something like a Cisco router interface.
