Hello Roger,

I believe that this password reset by TACACS authenticated users is fixed in a later RIOS release.

If that is not an option then a reboot into single user mode and a password reset there is possible. There is a KB article for that procedure.

If the STeelhead is managed via the CMC you might be able to send the CLI Command to change the password.

Hi

Our organization lost password for the username admin and monitor.

Tacacs access is OK, enable mode as well but I can not add a new user or overwrite an existing.(monitor)

It says that I cannot change usernames since I am a non-admin. (Maybe not superuser ?)

Product model 2050  Ver 5.5.4c 

Any cool tips how to proceed ?
On-site access is difficult.
