Please open a new support case for this, we will need to perform sysdump analysis. Please provide a system dump while the Steelhead is stuck in admission control.

Steelhead in Admission control state due to memory problem

Hi Chris/ Edwin,

 

We have a Steelhhead model 5050H which has a memory limit of 6700 MB.

 

In recent times we have observed that the device is entering into admission control when the device reaches this limit and stops optimizing new connections.

 

The device stays in this state till the optimization services are restarted.

 

We have upgraded to Rios 6.5.2 from  Rios 6.5.1 as suggested by the TAC but still the problem persists.

 

Can you suggest the solution to this problem.
