If the traffic is encrypted, you'll typically see slightly more data on the WAN than on the LAN in the current connections report. If it is encrypted, the only option you have is to turn off the encryption or just pass the connection through without optimization. If it isn't encrypted, then the Steelhead will normally be able to reduce the data at least a few percent, if not more. Depends on how repeatable the data is.

No,
we don't seeing 0% reduction for destination port 3389,
but yes for some other port (this maybe because of maximum optimized connection limit)
We not sure wether the traffic is encrypted or not, so what can i do if the traffic is encrypted?
and what can i do if the traffic is not encrypted?
Thanks a lot,

Are you seeing 0% reduction for destination port 3389 or some other port?
Is the traffic encrypted?

Thank you for the reply Mr. Edwin
When i look in the Current Connection, the reduction factor is 0 %
When i look in the Traffic Summary, the reduction factor is 0.00 %
We have apply In-path rules to a fixed target (the Steelhead at the Data Center is using OUT-OF PATH) with these condition :
- Preoptimization Policy : None
- Optimization Policy : SDR-Only
- Latency Optimization Policy : Normal
- Neural Framing : Never
note : these configuration works on Remote Desktop Optimization.
