The Toronto Riverbed User Group held its inaugural lunch meeting Tuesday, September 13th at the CNIB Centre on Bayview
The meeting was well attended by the representatives of the local companies using Riverbed products and few guests who are evaluating Steelheads

Introduction of myself as the inaugural President
Roadmap of Riverbed products and services led by Bob Gilbert Chief Evangelist from Riverbed (Awesome title)
- Included in the Roadmap were introduction of some new products recently acquired by RB
- CACE, Global Protocols, Zeus Technologies and Optimize
- There were many new features coming which Bob was able to discuss as everyone had signed a “Non-Disclosure
Agreement”. This is one of the great advantages of the User Group meetings - Bob also introduced the Beta Program for those interested in trying new products from Riverbed. More information is available at Riverbed.com/RAAP

We also had an extended overview of the Zeus and Optimize products.
We hope to have regular meetings every 3 to 4 months and we’re looking for topics that other RUG members would be interested in. I’d like to hear from members on whether they would be interested in presentations from members on
how they are using Riverbed products to provide value to their organization.
