Yes, it is indeed. Corporate users can not understand the pain and sufferings of the remote office users who are competeing for "little" bandwidth with 50 or may be 100 other users over a measly T1 MPLS circuits. I was tired of listening to these complaints from my branch office users like broken record, any day of the week they will say " network is so slow"!!!!
so I Investigated what is out there... and decided to try Riverbed steelhead....... why didn't I think of this before?
--- that was my reaction after implementing Riverbed to two of my remote sites. What a great product to work with.
After getting "kudos" from these remote users who are now able to check emails and pull files down from the corporate servers with out saying one politically incorrect word. I managed to get approval to deploy steelhead to all our sites, it was a great news for the users, who were suffering from "shortage of bandwidth"
Couldn't wait to deploy it to every site the following quarter.... Europe to Mexico... I deployed it to every site and
now even to my mobile users....... simply awesome awesome product.
Reporting is as good as Optimization it does.... extremely user friendly, simply love it. Techsupport is excellent too!
