As I was a bit rushed ... I sent the following commands by cmc : rsp image fetch rsp install image rsp enable Thats worked very well, but would be interesting that cmc could upgrade rsp by the same way that it upgrade RIOS (by image library ou URL). In case of link get down during image fetch, we get speedup because the image is in the remote steelhead cache. Thanks

Hi, I've used such upgrade option. I had some troubles in some SH, because the operations didnt complete in it all. Now, I have SHs with the new fetched RSP image (7.0.0) , but not installed and the remain SHs that didnt fetch the new RSP image.

I tried a new rsp install, but cmc said  "Operation not sent because the appliance is already being processed". I didnt find a cli command to cancel rsp image install. So I did a cmc reboot to cancel that. But if I try to install rsp again, the same situation occurs... operations aren't concluded and cmc says "Operation not sent because the appliance is already being processed".

So I need to know:

- how to setup a timeout value to rsp install

- how to suspend a rsp image install (when operation history shows "pending" status for the operation)

Ah OK. If you upgrade CMC version 6.0 or later, you'll be able to push out RSP images to your Steelheads.

We are not on RiOS 6.x yet (thats what we are moving to now), the RiOS upgrade is no problem. I just need to get the RSP image to the box ready for me to do the upgarde so im not waiting around for the image to copy.

I think I might need to script an scp job to upload from our data centre to all the devices ready to do the update.

Hi Guys

A quick one for you.......

I need to update RiOS and RSP on 30+ devices, i can do the RiOS via CMC no problem but I need to upload the RSP image to all the devices ready for the upgrade.

Anyone have a quick way of doing this?
