Maybe the peaks are replications jobs and their bandwidth dominates?  It is a little odd.  Certainly a lot of the low % is overnight.

It is kind of odd that the chart doesn't match up with the numbers.

Also, is this from one of your branch offices or a datacenter? What type of layout do you have?

I agree that it is hard to imagine how work was done effeciently before a deployment of Riverbed devices - you are quickly reminded of the benefits if one of your devices ever goes down.

Nice!   But, how is it the chart shows optimization more down in the 20s and 30's with just some peaks over 75 but the average shows 85?

Is it properly measuring?

We have about 25 Steelhead units throughout our organization. This is an example of one of our locations.  What a differnce this has made for increased bandwith and speed for our end users! This is one incredible product and it is SO easy to administer. The 6.72X increase is pretty typical. I don't know what we did before Riverbed!  The support for these products is exceptional as well!!!!  Thanks guys for all your help!
