Remember that to access the key forum features associated with posting, you must first register for this forum. We have made the process of registering quick and easy. To make the most out of the forum, some of the features are highlighted below:
1. Forum Rules

2. WDS Forum Topics
The WDS Forum has been organized into several key forum areas, including WDS Forum Updates, WDS Industry News, Contests, and a Wide Area Data Services section that includes application performance, site consolidation, backup/replication, bandwidth optimization, and ask the experts.
Feel free to peruse the topics, reply to existing posts and create topics of your own. All we ask is that you try to stay within the topic of the post. If you are in the application acceleration section, make sure your topic is about application acceleration. Please note that vendor-specific support issues and/or requests should not be pursued via this forum. Support requests for Riverbed specifically should be made through the Riverbed support ticketing system at support.riverbed.com.
3. Forum/Topic Subscription
You can subscribe to any forum or individual topic by selecting the "Forum Options" pull-down and selecting "Subscribe to this forum". You will have the option to receive email notifications when new postings occur.
4. Attachments
During the posting process you will have the option of adding an attachment. This is useful if you want to share a screenshot, photo of your deployment, or maybe are trying to convey a point about the topic of discussion.
5. Polls
You will see polls from time to time as part of posts. Please participate when you can!
6. Your profile
Don't forget to update your profile, including photo and description. Let your fellow community members know who you are!
7. Messenger
This forum includes a messenger for sending emails to other users. You can find the settings in the "My Controls" link
8. Post Ratings
If you like a post or feel that it was useful, don't forget to rate the post so other users will be more inclined to read the post. To rate the post, select the "Rating" option, dragging the mouse to highlight the number of stars to give. One star is low, and 5 is the highest.
