In-path interfaces can be on the same subnet for any appliance.

A remote Steelhead peers with the server-side Steelhead, in the same way it would if it were WCCP redirected. The IC has a connection forwarding neighbour relationship with its local Steelheads (configuration required).

Do the in-path cards in the IC have to be on different subnets, similar to the ones in a Steelhead?

Also, does a remote SH peer with the IC or the server side SH?
