In version 2 Interceptor the Interceptor can work with Etherchannel links but does NOT terminate the Etherchannel.  The reason for this is because an Interceptor outage/shutdown/restart would cause a termination/renegotiation of the Etherchannel.

Interceptor version 2 does fully support Etherchannel and should maintain redundancy if Etherchannel links are lost.

I believe this issue is being discussed separately in a support case so I'll be brief here.

In Interceptor version 1 the Etherchannel 'connection' exists between the Cisco devices each side of the Interceptor. The Interceptor is largely unaware (but uncaring) that it's an Etherchannel link.

In Interceptor version 2 there are two separate Etherchannel links, one on the WAN side of the Interceptor and one on the LAN side of the Interceptor. The Interceptor is, to all intents and purposes, an Etherchannel device in this configuration.
