If a pass-through rule is created, then the packets that match the pass-through rule are forwarded using the Interceptor routes, and not to the Steelhead.

I guess what I am really looking for is to determine if the Interceptor will pass the packet to the neighbor peer even if the in-path rule says pass-thru all the traffic..
From what I understand, an Interceptor does not optimize the traffic. So, if we want certain traffic to be optimized, we should redirect it to one of the peer neighbor Steelhead appliances. On the other hand, if we wanted to pass-thru the traffic and created an in-path rule for it, does the Interceptor pass it thru to the downstream switch that its peer neighbors are hanging off of?
