Yes, you can use the same VLAN for both. Your default gateway for your LAN hosts remains the ASA. The Steelhead would also be configured to use the ASA as its gateway

riverbed connection question

hi! If i've the following connection, my question is that can i use the same vlan or network segment for the PRI and WAN interface of the riverbed appliance? If i would to have a route to my corporate network eg. 192.168.1.x/24 from my internal lan what will be my gateway in this case? is it the lan interface of the riverbed or the internal interface of the ASA box?
