I am analyzing 802.11 Block ACK operation. My setup is quite simple. For monitoring, I am using Wireshark and the AirPcap Nx. I have a Linksys E4200 access point and two different test laptops. When I test the Apple laptop by watching a streaming video, I see all packets as expected (i.e., large numbers of Block ACK'd packets flowing from the Linksys to the laptop). When I test the HP laptop, however, I see the expected operation, but IN REVERSE. That is, according to the source and destination address information indicated by Wireshark, the packets look as though the laptop is pumping large numbers of Block ACK'd packets to the Linksys, with very little data flowing to the laptop. Since the streaming video is functioning properly, this cannot be. Needless to say, I find this confusing. Has anyone else experienced this?
