   Another improvement could be. There is command

    logging file delete

    but this command allow delete old files not current.

    sometimes, especialy during tests it is useful have absolutely empty log.

 

What you can do is force a rotation of the logfiles with the command "logging file rotation force" and then you start with a clean sheet.

logging files

Hello 

 

I would suggest Riverbed to name logging files including hostname, date and timestamps.

Now it is just numbers 1,2,3,....

It is not clear what interval it includes. I don't think it is problem implement more precise naming.

For example generating sysdump it appears automatically.

 

Another improvement could be. There is command

logging file delete

but this command allow delete old files not current.
