Improved method of loading a config from file

I agree, the current way of backing up is not perfect. We sometimes do it with a script that ssh's into the Steelhead, sets the terminal length to 0 to avoid pagebreaks, and pipes the output of sh run into a text file. The "right" thing to wish for is an upload of initial or running by TFTP, that could then be scheduled, like most cisco people are used to. I, for one, adds improved backup to the wishlist. Especially of the CMC :-).

Improved method of loading a config from file

It is possible to save one's SH configuration to a file by going to Setup>Configuration Manager> then clicking on the Active configuration. This brings up the config in one's browser so it can be saved to a file. I think we need to have an easier way of loading one configuration into a new or replacement SH appliance. I see that we have the ability to load a config from a different SH appliance, but I'd like to be able to do it from a file. What would really be nice is to specify a UNC network file specification where the Active Config is autmatically backed-up to. So after any config changes the file on the network is also backed up.
