It depends. If you have a payday loan print queue defined on the Metaframe server and print to that, your print job will be passing the Steelheads as CIFS, IP print (TCP/9100), LPR or similar, which will be optimized. If you use the Citrix universal print driver, and print to a local printer on the client machine, the print job is transferred inside the ICA (TCP/1494) session, and will be passed through. Needless to say, the first option is an advantage both for WAN acceleration and for QoS as well.
