It is something that is likely to be implemented in a future release. However, I cannot comment on which release it may be in.

I asked the same question a while ago. It seems like it would be pretty easy to implement as you already have the configs. When we upgraded to CMC 6.5 all of our appliances show that they are now different and I have no idea what the differences are. I need to push out a change but at this point, I don't want to because I don't know what will happen.
As a side question: If we were to "re-baseline" the configs with one we know is good will the devices show their proper status afterward?
Appologies in advance if I'm stepping on another quetion.
Is there a proper place to make a feature request for the CMC? When I go into the Appliance Managment and I see that config changes are ready to be pushed, it would be nice to be able to check to see what is going to be pushed rather than kind of flying blind.
