Hallo,
i have a customer who is looking at rolling out Steelheads to their remote offices but has a requirement that they be able to monitor users' internet usage - meaning logging the User, Source IP, and the actual URL accessed. While it would theoretically possible to get the DNS info from the Steelheads or from InfoBlox on the RSP, the only way i can see to get the entire URL would be to install a Win Server on the RSP and a proxy server on top of it - users would then access the internet through the proxy which would redirect them to the internet firewall. Would this work or is there a better way of getting this info from the Steelhead?
NOTE: the remote offices have local connections to the internet - separate uplinks for WAN and internet traffic.
thanks in advance,
William
